This year's Fair incorporates Bike Fest '09 and the Annual Garden Awards Presentation.

- Find new ideas on sustainability from Dr Mark Diesendorf and permaculture authors David Holmgren and Ro Morrow.
- Interested in community gardening, Sustainability Street, living local or a local food co-op? Come and find out how you can be involved.
- The Alternative Technology Association will be powered up to answer your questions about solar and wind energy, solar hot water systems, biodiesel, rainwater tanks, greywater systems and other things you've been wondering about at our sustainable technology clinic.
- Take a sticky beak at the innovative sustainability activities our schools and early childhood centres are involved in.
- Learn about bushtucker or turn your creative hand to mosaics or kite making.
Celebrate with the winners of the always-popular annual Garden Awards Presentation for best residential, native, school garden, community and environmentally friendly gardens. - Get on your bike ... pedal to the fair and enjoy FREE valet parking. Keep your bike in tiptop condition with our FREE bike checkup or join one of the fascinating cycling workshops. Gaze in awe at the daredevil bicycle stunts of the Trial Bike Riders.
With more than 50 exhibitors, creative corner, kid's space, workshops and Conversations Cafe, our journey to sustainability is going to be an interesting one. And it's free.
