#221 No Impact Breakfast
'No Impact Man' is a book I love on the struggles and triumphs of a NY family living with minimal impact for a year- that means no subway, electricity or toilet paper!! Although the Trupps are keeping our toilet paper, a lot of the concepts in the book have already seeped into our lives: my astonishment at our daily overflowing bins and the attempt to eat as locally as possible.
So to kick start 'No Impact Week' on the 29th August 2010 we hosted a community breakfast on our lawn.
Everyone bought a plate to share of food grown and made in NSW (as best they could) It was really interesting to see what everyone came up with!
